Your Gift Certificate will arrive in your email inbox in the form of an e-Certificate. E-Certificates work very much the same way a standard gift card does. Each e-Certificate comes with a coupon type code that can be applied to your purchase upon checkout. When you redeem your e-certificate by applying the "certificate code," the balance remaining on your e-certificate will be automatically deducted from your cart subtotal.

You will receive an email containing your e-Certificate within 24 hours of your purchase. The e-Certificate will include all of the necessary information including links to our websites, the gift certificate code, and the amount. E-Certificates are the new, alternative way to present gift cards while reducing plastic and paper waste. This email can be forwarded and/or transferred to anyone.

E-Certificates never expire. Since our company resides in California, our state law requires gift certificates of this nature to never expire.

E-Certificates can be redeemed by anyone who holds the certificate code. The certificate can be transferred to anyone, at any time.

If you return or cancel an item that you purchased with an e-Certificate, credit will be refunded back to that same e-Certificate. The gift certificate may then be used to make a future purchase with 1STOPlighting. We are unable to issue a check for credit on purchases made with gift certificates. If you lose your e-Certificate code, please just give us a call and we can assist you.
